California High School Basketball - Serra topples Bishop Montgomery
(February 1, 2012: Gardena, CA 90249) In Wednesday's league outing, the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA), by a count of 54-43.
The Cavaliers (22-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Lancers go into the Del Rey outing with a 14-10 record. In their last outing, Bishop Amat gained a win over La Salle (Pasadena, CA), 41-36, in a league outing.
The Knights now hold a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cathedral for a Del Rey outing on Friday, February 3. Bishop Montgomery will play a Phantoms squad coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Phantoms record now stands at 5-17.
