(November 19, 2010: Lytle, TX 78052) Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lytle Pirates (Lytle, TX), 50-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Navarro (Geronimo, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Navarro won 65-8 in their recent non-league bout against Kenedy (Kenedy, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the Gonzales Apaches (Gonzales, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 22. Lytle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Apaches go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 67-23 non-league win over Kenedy (Kenedy, TX).
