California High School Basketball - Bishop Amat falls to St. Bernard

(January 24, 2012: Playa del Rey, CA 90293) The St. Bernard Vikings basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Bishop Amat Lancers to 45 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul for a Del Rey contest on Thursday, January 26. St. Bernard will confront a Swordsmen team coming off a 51-28 league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Swordsmen record now stands at 13-9.

The Lancers (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Serra (Gardena, CA). The Cavaliers enter the Del Rey contest with a 18-3 record. In their last contest, Serra ran past Liberty (Bakersfield, CA), 80-26, in a non-league contest.
