New York High School Basketball - Wayland-Cohocton tipped by Greece Odyssey

(February 9, 2010: Wayland, NY 14572) The Greece Odyssey Leopards basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Wayland-Cohocton Eagles to 42 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Leopards now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Victor for a Section 5 Monroe County III contest on Friday, February 12. Greece Odyssey will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 48-40 league win over Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-5.

The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hornell (Hornell, NY). The Red Raiders enter the Section 5 Livingston County I contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Hornell nudged Haverling (Bath, NY), 58-44, in a league contest.
