Minnesota High School Basketball - Andover thwarts Cambridge-Isanti
(December 10, 2011: Cambridge, MN 55008) The Andover Huskies (Andover, MN) basketball felled the host Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets (Cambridge, MN), 72-56 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Huskies (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN). The Crimson go into the Northwest Suburban test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Maple Grove went down by Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN), 64-54, in a league test.
The Bluejackets now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mahtomedi for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Cambridge-Isanti will clash with a Zephyrs squad coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Zephyrs record now stands at 2-3.
