Oregon High School Basketball - Aloha can't hold off Sunset
(February 1, 2012: Portland, OR 97229) The Sunset Apollos basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Aloha Warriors to 44 in the Apollos league victory on Wednesday.
The Apollos now sport a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Westview for a 6A Metro contest on Friday, February 3. Sunset will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 43-38 league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-4.
The Warriors (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Southridge (Beaverton, OR). The Skyhawks come into the 6A Metro contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Southridge edged Beaverton (Beaverton, OR), 62-51, in a league bout.
