Arizona High School Football - Cactus crushed by Saguaro

(September 23, 2011: Glendale, AZ 85306) In Friday's non-league game, the Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) football team smashed the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), by a final score of 62-24.

The Sabercats (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder come into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Desert Vista overwhelmed Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ), 49-14, in a non-league game.

The Cobras now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thunderbird for a non-league game on Friday, September 30. Cactus will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 32-12 non-league loss to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-3.
