Texas High School Basketball - Cypress Lakes ripped by Cypress Falls

(January 10, 2012: Houston, TX 77095) The Cypress Falls Eagles basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Cypress Lakes Spartans to 47 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Creek for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 13. Cypress Falls will confront a Cougars team coming off a 54-52 league loss to Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 11-12.

The Spartans (4-17) will now prepare for their contest against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Bobcats enter the 5A Region III District 17 contest with a 9-15 record. In their last game, Cy-Fair routed Jersey Village (Houston, TX), 74-31, in a league game.
