Texas High School Basketball - Fossil Ridge edges Carroll

(February 10, 2012: Southlake, TX 76092) The Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX) basketball nipped the host Carroll Dragons (Southlake, TX), 53-51 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (19-10) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans go into the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 21-11 record. In their last test, Northwest got by Guyer (Denton, TX), 47-42, in a non-league test.

The Dragons now own a 16-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keller for a 5A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, February 14. Carroll will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 57-54 league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Indians record now stands at 16-11.
