North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County falls to First Flight

(February 3, 2012: Barco, NC 27917) The First Flight Night Hawks basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Currituck County Knights to 41 in the Night Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Night Hawks now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeastern for a 3A/2A Northeastern Coastal contest on Tuesday, February 7. First Flight will meet a Eagles team coming off a 52-48 league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.

The Knights (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears enter the 3A/2A Northeastern Coastal contest with a 16-3 record.
