Arizona High School Basketball - Desert Edge nudges Estrella Foothills
(January 24, 2012: Goodyear, AZ 85338) In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Estrella Foothills Wolves (Goodyear, AZ), by a margin of 50-46.
The Scorpions (11-11) will now prepare for their outing against Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Roughriders go into the II Section III outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Youngker was tipped by Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ), 60-43, in a league outing.
The Wolves now own a 8-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buckeye for a III Section III outing on Friday, January 27.
