(February 3, 2012: La Jolla, CA 92037) In Friday's league outing, the La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Parker Lancers (San Diego, CA), by a count of 53-35.

The Torreys (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Fe Christian (Solana Beach, CA). The Eagles go into the Coastal outing with a 14-8 record. In their last outing, Santa Fe Christian gained a win over Horizon (San Diego, CA), 65-53, in a league outing.

The Lancers now hold a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they host Army-Navy for a Coastal outing on Wednesday, February 8. Parker will face a Warriors team coming off a 62-50 league win over Bishop's (La Jolla, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 18-5.
