With the win, South View upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Tigers host Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC) to encounter the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Purnell Swett lost 54-39 in their recent non-league bout against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC)

Next up, the Golden Bulls encounter the Jack Britt Buccaneers (Fayetteville, NC) in a 4A Mid-South bout, on Tuesday, January 3. E.E. Smith will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
