(December 3, 2011: El Paso, TX 79924) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Irvin Rockets (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), saw Irvin's basketball squad knock off Austin by a score of 53-38.

With the victory, Irvin improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Rockets host Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Mayfield lost 44-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM)
