Kentucky High School Basketball - Ballard Memorial can't hold off Lone Oak

(December 13, 2011: Paducah, KY 42001) The Lone Oak Purple Flash basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Ballard Memorial Bombers to 38 in the Purple Flash non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Purple Flash now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Mayfield for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. Lone Oak will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Fulton City (Fulton, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.

Next up, the Bombers encounter the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Ballard Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
