(January 31, 2012: Meeker, CO 81641) The Meeker Cowboys basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Grand Valley Cardinals to 36 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cowboys now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Plateau Valley for a 2A/1A Western Slope contest on Saturday, February 4.

The Cardinals (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO). The Titans come into the 3A Western Slope contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Coal Ridge was routed by Aspen (Aspen, CO), 48-46, in a league contest.
