Texas High School Basketball - Westwood ripped by Brownsboro

(December 29, 2011: Brownsboro, TX 75756) The Brownsboro Bears basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Westwood Panthers to 25 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rusk for a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 6.

The Panthers (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX). The Mustangs enter the 3A Region III District 20 contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Madisonville was routed by Klein Oak (Spring, TX), 54-32, in a non-league contest.
