(December 28, 2011: Corinth, MS 38834) Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) and the host Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS), saw Tupelo's basketball squad overcome Corinth by a score of 63-44.

With the victory, Tupelo improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Golden Wave host Ashland (Ashland, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Ashland lost 52-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Senatobia (Senatobia, MS)

Next up, the Warriors play the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Corinth will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 60-30 non-league loss to Alcorn Central (Glen, MS).
