Florida High School Basketball - DeLand holds off Seabreeze

(November 19, 2010: DeLand, FL 32724) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the DeLand Bulldogs (DeLand, FL) and the visiting Seabreeze Sandcrabs (Daytona Beach, FL), saw DeLand's basketball squad hold off Seabreeze by a score of 49-46.

With the victory, DeLand improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host University (Orange City, FL) to play the in a 6A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, November 30. The come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Sandcrabs play the Mainland Buccaneers (Daytona Beach, FL) in a 6A District 2 test, on Tuesday, November 23. Seabreeze will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Buccaneers go into the test with a 0-4 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Seminole (Sanford, FL).
