California High School Basketball - King's Academy prevails Kern Valley
(December 29, 2011: Lake Isabella, CA 93240) King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA), 52-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, King's Academy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Knights host Menlo (Atherton, CA) to play the Knights in a West Bay bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Menlo won 53-46 in their recent non-league bout against St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA)
Next up, the Broncs play the Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Kern Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 62-35 non-league win over Woodlake (Woodlake, CA).
