With the win, Oakwood upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Lumberjacks host Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH) to play the Jets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Jets go into the game with a record of 8-6.
With the defeat, Monroe moves to 4-14 on the year. The Hornets host Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern game on Friday, February 10. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 6-10.
