California High School Football - Paraclete topples Whittier Christian

(October 17, 2008: Lancaster, CA 93536) The Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) football defeated the visiting Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA), 38-12 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Spirits face the Los Angeles Baptist Knights (North Hills, CA) in a Olympic bout, on Saturday, October 25. Paraclete will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 28-16 league loss to Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA).

The Heralds (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA). The Crusaders enter the Olympic bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Valley Christian defeated Godinez (Santa Ana, CA), 56-0, in a non-league bout.
