(January 7, 2012: Panama City, FL 32401) The Rutherford Rams (Panama City, FL) basketball nipped the visiting Niceville Eagles (Niceville, FL), 46-44 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rams (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Bay (Panama City, FL). The Tornadoes go into the 5A District 1 test with a 2-3 record.

The Eagles now own a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mosley for a 6A District 2 test on Tuesday, January 10. Niceville will meet a Dolphins team coming off a 33-27 league loss to Fort Walton Beach (Fort Walton Beach, FL). The Dolphins record now stands at 13-4.
