(October 1, 2011: Medford, MN 55049) The Medford Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blooming Prairie for a Gopher game on Tuesday, October 4. Medford will confront a Awesome Blossoms team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The Awesome Blossoms record now stands at 10-8.
