Texas High School Basketball - Lee routs Longview
(January 3, 2012: Tyler, TX 75701) In Tuesday's league outing, the Lee Raiders (Tyler, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Longview Lobos (Longview, TX), by a count of 71-34.
The Raiders (18-5) will now prepare for their outing against North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Stallions go into the 5A Region II District 11 outing with a 4-16 record. In their last outing, North Mesquite was crushed by Horn (Mesquite, TX), 51-25, in a league outing.
The Lobos now hold a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host DeSoto for a 5A Region II District 11 outing on Friday, January 6. Longview will face a Eagles team coming off a 58-46 league win over Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 16-3.
