Oregon High School Basketball - Seaside topped by Tillamook
(January 27, 2012: Tillamook, OR 97141) The Tillamook Cheesemakers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Seaside Seagulls to 24 in the Cheesemakers league victory on Friday.
The Cheesemakers now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Yamhill-Carlton for a 4A Cowapa contest on Tuesday, January 31. Tillamook will meet a Tigers team coming off a 40-30 league win over Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
The Seagulls (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR). The Indians come into the 4A Cowapa contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Scappoose dropped by Banks (Banks, OR), 57-35, in a league contest.
