Wisconsin High School Football - Lincoln topples Wausau East
(October 9, 2009: Wausau, WI 54403) The Lincoln Red Raiders (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) football defeated the host Wausau East Lumberjacks (Wausau, WI), 29-7 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Red Raiders face the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 15. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 35-7 non-league win over Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN).
The Lumberjacks (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Marshfield (Marshfield, WI). The Tigers enter the Wisconsin Valley bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Marshfield defeated Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI), 42-7, in a league bout.
