(January 24, 2009: Naples, FL 34119) The Killian Cougars (Miami, FL) basketball knocked off the host Gulf Coast Sharks (Naples, FL), 74-56 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Southridge (Miami, FL). The Spartans go into the 6A District 16 test with a 10-11 record. In their last test, Southridge topped Ferguson (Miami, FL), 58-55, in a non-league test.

The Sharks now own a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they host Naples for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 28.
