(September 21, 2006: Spring Valley, NY 10977) The Ramapo Gryphons held off the visiting Greeley Quakers football squad by a final score of 36-35 in Thursday's league outing.

The Gryphons now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Clarkstown North for a Section 1 AA - Rockland outing on Saturday, September 30. Ramapo will confront a Rams squad coming off a 13-6 league win over Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY). The Rams record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Greeley moves to 2-1 on the campaign. The Quakers host North Rockland (Thiells, NY) to confront the Raiders in a Section 1 AA - Rockland outing on Saturday, September 30.
