West Virginia High School Basketball - Clay County ripped by Roane County

Roane County Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting
Clay County Panthers to 40 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host
Wirt County for a
Little Kanawha contest on Tuesday, January 22.
Roane County will meet a Tigers team coming off a
65-54 league win over
Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.
The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against
South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest,
South Harrison was routed by
Gilmer County (Glenville, WV),
32-21, in a league contest.
