Florida High School Basketball - Tenoroc thwarts Fort Meade

(January 6, 2009: Lakeland, FL 33801) The Tenoroc basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Fort Meade Miners to 35 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jenkins for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 7. Tenoroc will confront a Eagles team coming off a 58-37 non-league win over Lakeland (Lakeland, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-3.

The Miners (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against All Saints' Academy (Winter Haven, FL). The Saints enter the 2A District 10 contest with a 0-6 record.
