California High School Basketball - Saugus can't hold off Muir

(December 17, 2011: Saugus, CA 91350) The Muir Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Saugus Centurions to 52 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Temple City for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27.

The Centurions (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Tesoro nudged Marina (Huntington Beach, CA), 52-40, in a non-league contest.
