(February 3, 2012: Las Vegas, NV 89110) The Laughlin Cougars basketball team (Laughlin, NV), was overwhelmed 80-48 in Friday's league battle with the host Mountain View Christian Saints (Las Vegas, NV)

The Saints now possess a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Lake Mead Academy for a Southern 2A battle on Tuesday, February 7. Mountain View Christian will battle a Eagles team coming off a 75-61 league win over Lincoln County (Panaca, NV). The Eagles record now stands at 12-13.

The Cougars (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Needles (Needles, CA). The Mustangs come into the Southern 2A battle with a 19-7 record. In their last battle, Needles was overwhelmed by Agassi Prep (Las Vegas, NV), 98-80, in a league contest.
