California High School Volleyball - Cordova edged by Antelope
(September 21, 2011: Rancho Cordova, CA 95670) The Antelope Titans held off the host Cordova Lancers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.
The Titans now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rio Americano for a Capital test on Monday, September 26. Antelope will confront a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 14-4.
The Lancers (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Wildcats go into the Capital outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Whitney was tipped by El Camino (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
