Texas High School Basketball - Plano East can't hold off Plano West

(January 20, 2012: Plano, TX 75093) The Plano West Wolves basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Plano East Panthers to 67 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 20-6 record. They play next when they host Marcus for a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 24. Plano West will play a Marauders squad coming off a 76-56 league win over Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX). The Marauders record now stands at 20-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the Allen Eagles (Allen, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Plano East will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 44-40 league win over Lewisville (Lewisville, TX).
