(January 24, 2012: San Antonio, TX 78233) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) and the host Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), saw Steele's basketball squad knock off Wagner by a score of 79-61.
With the victory, Steele improves its record to 20-7 on the campaign. The Knights host San Marcos (San Marcos, TX) to battle the Rattlers in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 10-19. San Marcos lost 47-16 in their recent league challenge against Judson (Converse, TX)
Next up, the Thunderbirds battle the Judson Rockets (Converse, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Wagner will attempt to improve on its 16-13 season record.
