California High School Basketball - Sierra trounces Sanger
(December 3, 2011: Sanger, CA 93657) The Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) basketball crushed the host Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA), 72-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Chieftains (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Immanuel (Reedley, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Immanuel walloped Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA), 54-46, in a non-league test.
The Apaches now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reedley for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 7. Sanger will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 70-39 non-league loss to Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-1.
