Texas High School Basketball - Plano West over Estacado

(December 3, 2011: Plano, TX 75093) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX) and the visiting Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), saw Plano West's basketball squad knock off Estacado by a score of 69-52.

With the victory, Plano West improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX) to battle the Marauders in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Marauders come into the contest with a record of 3-0.

The Matadors (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Midland (Midland, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Midland dropped by Coronado (El Paso, TX), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
