Florida High School Basketball - Ridgewood crushes River Ridge

(November 30, 2007: New Port Richey, FL 34654) Ridgewood Rams (New Port Richey, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host River Ridge Knights /Royal (New Port Richey, FL), 65-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ridgewood upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Rams host Central (Brooksville, FL) to play the Bears in a 5A District 7 bout on Tuesday, December 4. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Central lost 71-41 in their recent league bout against Land O'Lakes (Land O'Lakes, FL)

Next up, the Knights /Royal play the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 4. River Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 58-53 league loss to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL).
