(September 6, 2008: Bethlehem, PA 18017) The Allen Canaries football team (Allentown, PA), was ripped 42-7 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA)

The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitehall (Whitehall, PA). The Zephyrs come into the Lehigh Valley challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Whitehall was ripped by Freedom (Bethlehem, PA), 28-26, in a league challenge.

The Canaries now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Nazareth for a Lehigh Valley challenge on Friday, September 12. Allen will meet a Eagles team coming off a 38-0 league loss to Emmaus (Emmaus, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
