Nebraska High School Basketball - Holdrege fells McCook
(December 17, 2011: McCook, NE 69001) Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host McCook Bison (McCook, NE), 56-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Holdrege upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Dusters travel to Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Grand Island Central Catholic lost 43-33 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE)
Next up, the Bison play the Phillipsburg Panthers (Phillipsburg, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. McCook will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 46-19 league win over Norton (Norton, KS).
