California High School Basketball - Calaveras edges Enterprise

(December 30, 2011: San Andreas, CA 95249) The Calaveras Redskins (San Andreas, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA), 44-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Redskins (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Argonaut (Jackson, CA). The Mustangs go into the Mother Lode test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Argonaut was tipped by Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA), 43-36, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lassen for a Eastern - South test on Tuesday, January 3. Enterprise will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 68-34 non-league win over Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-5.
