Tennessee High School Basketball - White Station holds off Dixie Heights
(December 17, 2011: Memphis, TN 38117) Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the White Station Spartans (Memphis, TN) and the visiting Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), saw White Station's basketball squad hold off Dixie Heights by a score of 64-60.
With the victory, White Station improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Memphis East (Memphis, TN) to play the Mustangs in a AAA District 16 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Memphis East won 83-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Houston (Germantown, TN)
Next up, the Colonels play the Wings Academy Wings (Bronx, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Dixie Heights will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.
