(December 28, 2011: Annandale, NJ 08801) Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Hunterdon Lions (Annandale, NJ) and the visiting Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), saw North Hunterdon's basketball squad knock off Saucon Valley by a score of 49-41.
With the victory, North Hunterdon improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ) to battle the Red Devils in a Skyland - Delaware challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Hunterdon Central won 78-70 in their recent non-league challenge against Randolph (Randolph, NJ)
The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Pirates come into the Colonial - South contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Palisades was defeated by Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA), 51-49, in a non-league contest.
