First Quarter Summary:
McKeel started the game playing very aggressive and were rewarded with their first goal to take the lead early in the game. Lake Gibson stayed with them and tied the score a few minutes later on a deflected shot by Cameron Hicks. After a back and forth physical half of soccer in a constant rain, Lake Gibson took the lead just before half. The goal was scored by Jorge Garcia off of a corner kick sent in by Lance Araujo.

Second Quarter Summary:
Although the rain stopped the second half began the same way the first was played, very even and very physical. Legofi Crawford scored Lake Gibson' third goal and it looked like that would be all that was needed for the victory. McKell did not quite, though, and a few minutes later scored their second and third goals in a span of about 5 minutes. The third coming off of a quick retake on a direct free kick that caught all of the Lake Gibson defenders napping. The match was hard fought and physical to the very end and with only minutes to play Lake Gibson capitalized on another corner kick by scoring the winning goal. Lance Araujo sent in the cross, and his third assist of the match, which made it all the way across the goal mouth before it was put away by Kamron Toune.
