California High School Basketball - Oak Grove can't hold off Piedmont Hills

(December 21, 2011: San Jose, CA 95123) The Piedmont Hills Pirates basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Oak Grove Eagles to 41 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watsonville for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Piedmont Hills will meet a Wildcatz team coming off a 60-44 non-league loss to Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA). The Wildcatz record now stands at 3-6.

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Andrew Hill (San Jose, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Andrew Hill was nudged by Seaside (Seaside, CA), 43-17, in a non-league contest.
