(January 10, 2012: Lucedale, MS 39452) The Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) basketball nipped the host George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), 51-48 in Tuesday's league test.

The Greyhounds (5-10) will now prepare for their test against St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS). The Yellowjackets go into the 6A Region 7 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, St. Martin got by St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS), 78-60, in a non-league test.

The Rebels now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Biloxi for a 6A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 17.
