New Jersey High School Football - Howell held off by Lacey Township

(September 30, 2006: Lanoka Harbor, NJ 08734) The Lacey Township Lions held off the visiting Howell Rebels football squad by a final score of 20-14 in Saturday's league outing.

The Lions now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brick for a Shore - Constitution outing on Saturday, October 7. Lacey Township will confront a Green Dragons squad coming off a 19-7 league loss to Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Green Dragons record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Howell moves to 2-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Toms River South (Toms River, NJ) to confront the Indians in a Shore - Constitution outing on Friday, October 6. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Toms River South lost 21-0 in their recent league outing against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ)
