California High School Basketball - Laton falls to Tranquillity

(January 4, 2012: Tranquillity, CA 93668) The Tranquillity Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Laton Mustangs to 49 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sierra Pacific for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Tranquillity will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 67-55 non-league loss to Fresno (Fresno, CA). The Golden Bears record now stands at 4-14.

The Mustangs (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Madera, CA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record.
