(December 2, 2011: Missouri City, TX 77459) Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Seven Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), 36-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Klein Collins (Spring, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Klein Collins won 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX)

Next up, the Spartans encounter the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Seven Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Klein Collins (Spring, TX).
